Anniversaries are a recognition of the occurrance of a past event on a specific date. These can be a wedding, new job started, moving into a new home, etc. Although usually observed on an annual cycle, anniversaries can occur for any time intervals.

Anniversaries are an important part of life. They remind us of past important events, both personal and cultural. An anniversary puts a pin on the calendar to remind us of something that matters to us. It’s a moment to reflect on a connection to a relationship, event, or cultural identity. By lighting a Virtual Candle, we honor that connection.
