MENTORING MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Mentoring program at Witch School International! The focus of this guide is to provide new Mentors with the foundations needed to resolve any questions or concerns, as well as serve as an ongoing reference for seasoned Mentors.
Mentors serve as a face for Witch School. This is an important job. While it isn't always easy and is a consuming job, Mentoring is rewarding.
Communication is key to facilitating proper education through Witch School International. It is vital that all Mentors utilize all the tools at their disposal in the process of helping students to maximize their learning experience at WSI.
Mentoring is a volunteer-based position and isn't for those seeking glory or recognition. Serving as a guide to steer student successfully through their studies requires attention, understanding and above all, communication. Your choice to serve as a Mentor should be weighed carefully prior to beginning this new voyage. Be sure that you have the time and patience to dedicate to all of your students.
Mentors do not need to set any requirements for students progression through the programs offered through Witch School. All requirements are set and maintained by Witch School International. Beings a Mentor is one of the hardest hobs you will have. It is emotional, can be tiring and you will find that is does at times interfere with your own life. It can also be one of the most rewarding and satisfying jobs you will ever have as well. You will never forget that first student that you built that relationship with and help through till the end when they move on to the next level of study. Remember that what you put into this role, you will reap 100 fold.
Please know that we appreciate all that you do and we are here to help make your jib as easy as possible, The most successful Mentors are those individuals who understand the importance of their role as a guide for students and enjoy the fulfillment that this role brings him or her.
